For keybinds, you'll want to enter the keyboard shortcuts (Cog icon in the side bar, then "Keyboard Shortcuts", or "Preferences: Open Keyboard Shortcuts" in the command palette). You can then search for Dendron lookup (Dendron: Lookup Note) and change it to whatever you want. I personally have it with a chord (
    Ctrl+D D
), but I'm not sure if I'd say that's the best thing πŸ˜›

Yup you just open the workspace and you can start taking notes. We actually have a workflows page that describes some of the common things people do with Dendron: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/9313b845-d9bf-42c9-aad1-0da34794ce26/

Oh also this, you can import your notes from Obsidian: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/f9b4fc21-7613-4c8a-9257-cec4c06b67f9/#obsidian

Yeah that's the Dendron settings πŸ™‚ You want VSCode's own keyboard shortcuts

I'm still moving in into the Fedora, so things are a bit messy, and I've ridden defaults in VSCode for extensions etc. so far πŸ˜›

Ctrl+F8 it is, vim, vs code and such literally claimed all my keybinds

Do you perhaps remember where did it tell us to replace the keybind on conflict? Some json file I think, not sure what was it

I replaced it and I suspect vim won't work it anymore πŸ˜›

I think it would be in the
    dendron.code-workspace
file? Or the keybindings JSON file, there should be a button on the top right of the shortcuts page to open that file

    Yes, keybindings.json it was

With a vim setup, I have my lookup bound to
    <leader>+L+L
    . You might like
    <leader>+l
or some other leader key combination

it's a key specifically set aside to begin user-defined keybindings

Yup, that's the way to go. You can then also use the
    Dendron: Workspace Sync
command to keep it synchronized too. You can also keep only an individual vault in git (the
    vault
folder) if you set up multiple vaults
