Thoughts on Thunderbird? I'm not thrilled with it, but it has all the functionality I need/expect, it's reliable, doesn't require much config, but has plugin capabilities. I'm using it now because my school email requires me to do the whole Outlook 365 thing. Once I graduate, I'm planning to switch to Mutt or Neomutt. They can handle OAuth, but only if you can get certain API keys, which the institution is not going to let me have. With vim + mutt integration, and dendron + vim integration, I have reason to believe that I could get really good dendron + email integration this way

To prevent the risk of further unauthorized access, our investigation team automatically suspended your account.
I have reached out to them internally, so we can have the account reopened to complete the clean-up process.
As soon as I hear from the investigation team, I will get back to you with further instructions.
why is AWS like this? so much bureaucracy

because they're one of the largest global networks on the planet and they have detected potential misuse or behavior they believe is related to a larger incident. or you're indiscriminately strobing subnets with nmap or something else you aren't authorized to do.

yeah well there's nothing of that sort going on... it's a very vanilla server on the basic tier. used only for some API GET requests for datasets from the UN servers which they provide for research work to researchers all over the world

I don't think @User had that intention. for community chat, please be kind and when disagreeing, respond to the comment vs accusing the person

    > "or you're indiscriminately strobing subnets with nmap or something else you aren't authorized to do." ... you don't think so? it seemed that way from my POV. it's agitating to be accused of something when you weren't doing anything. Anyway if it didn't seem that way to a 3rd party observer then apologies

I can't get my head around how to do that, but I had this idea of using the layered structure as "go down the rabbit hole" for learning ressource.

For example in Powershell. Starting with a
    'Hello World'
(it's literally just that) and then you can decide to go further. Make it a function. Or deeper, how and why does it work.

    you could call it a
    quickstart

    in depth route

Hey people, I was wondering if anyone tried to make a website front-end with edit capabilities for a Dendron vault ?

I'm kind of thinking about it, and how I might not want to checkout my vault to make edits

if you host on github, theres the option to add the "edit on github" link at the end of your website

Sadly, I use gitea (which is an open source, self-hosted github alternative), so that's a not an option, which is why I wanted to see if anyone had made a more involved solution ^^

I thought about it too. I'm not really a programmer, but l already looked at Terminal.gui and this may be a nice Project to Start with.

does dendron have any suggestions on formatting multiword notes such as lower-kebab-case etc. or it really doesn't matter? ive been using lower-kebab-case

I think the most common is kebab case. It's what Dendron generates if you use the "selection to link" modifier on the lookup too

    kebab-case
    ,
    snake_case
    ,
    camelCase
... I just love all the case names lol

does dendron have any notes about what it generates on our filesystem? i would like to understtand anything dendron uses to operate, as a user. like what is dendron.yml and *migrate-configs. are there any other files i expect dendron to generate to work?

dendron.yml is the configuration. during migration, it will create a migration file as a backup in case the mgiration fails
