    I mean we eventually probably wanna have an ingame editor anyway.. LDtk seems cool, but I feel like it's claiming to be a lot more than it actually is.. it has some cool features, but basic ones are pretty rough sometimes :P

    True. It’s just good practice to avoid those sorts of tooling jobs whenever possible when building the v0.0.1 (proof-of-concept). But as long as we start very small, editor features can be added at-will.

    While the game should be playable without any custom building/terrain placements (I.e. fixed visual upgrades, HoMM style) we might as well play around with it as an optional feature, since we’re building a minimal editor for it regardless.

    How do you imagine building this editor then? There are a few different options floating around: egui, raui, iced, ui4..

    hmm I'd figure using a very very simple ui mostly just having ghost versions in the world you can place. I don't think it needs a lot of UI tbh. and I'd try to do it with bevy_ui if I can
