Yea you can't do that, once you switch to pooled you can't go back to any kind of perm licence "with that NetScaler". I've got round this before by destroying one of the pair and reprovisioning it, readding to ha then failing over and doing the other. This works just fine.

This seems to work: System --> Licenses --> Manage Licenses Click on the X to the right of the pencil --> Yes to confirm release of allocated licenses Click on "ADC Test License" Licensing Mode should now say "EXPRESS" No need to boot or anything. But I did a boot to confirm if the license persists - and it does. Very nice.

ah good point I didn;t think about the freemium licence was only thinking of a purchased licence file, thats great to know at least you can revert to freemium that way.
