Not sure if you haven't already tried this, but is Shellbridge activated? There are known issues with office authentication in server 2019 when it's ran as a published application https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX267071/password-field-not-displayed-when-publish[…]lication-such-as-excel-or-word-on-server-2019-or-windows-10

Hi, I've got the issue with the office activation, users need to sign in again, I fix this by deleting the identity key: HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity Maybe this helps.

We are using M365 Apps for Enterprise as PublishedApps on Citrix DaaS with on-premise VDA workers. We could fixed it with three configuration points: 1. On Citrix FAS Server editing the default rule for FAS virtual smartcard certificate with allow in-session use. 2. Deploy above mentioned Shell Bridge Reg Key with GPO on VDA workers. 3. Enabling smart card authentication in Azure AD: Azure Active Directory -> Security -> Authentication methods -> Certificate-based authentication to enabled. Choose an AAD Group or synced on-premise AD group where the needed users are member of. If one has a similar setup and facing issues with activating office apps in that scenario - give it a try.

@Patrick Nordmyr Running a full desktop not published apps in this case. Definitely related to the profile folders excluded in latest FSLogix build.
