I avoid trend at all costs, Defender is being used on a couple of my customers - its light weight and fits perfectly if you have M365 services - havent had an issue yet...

trend deep security. extremely happy with it

Crowdstrike.

Sophos with Intercept X Defender + Cortex
b
Defender or S1 are our preferred AV solutions
j
I've binned antivirus and just use application execution restrictions

At my last place, we ran Trend Micro Apex One (loved it, would recommend it), but switched to Defender before I left. More resource intensive, somehow, but worked well.
New place has CrowdStrike and a handful of other trash apps.

S1 and now Cisco AMP
j
AMP 🤢
b
@Nick Panaccio Apex One was responsible for high PVS Target Device Retries in my last setup. Same Exclusions in combination with Windows Defender and the issue has gone. Did you experience that aswell?
n
We did not, no.
We had it on W10 and S16 PVS non-persistent VDAs running 1912 CU3.
b
Maybe I should give another shot. Thank you for confirming this.
r
@James Rankin What issues did you see with AMP? We are doing a large Cisco stack for rollouts internally
j
Crowdstrike is running at my customer. Good one from my perspective
j
Terrible performance generally

Thank you everyone.
