Well, I went ahead and put in a Citrix UPM Registry exclusion for that path and have gone from about 50 tickets to Zero tickets for users creating temporary profiles when the logout and back in quickly and profile didn't unload in time. Feels like a WIN to me. Edit to add: This also was being seen as "hung sessions" with the 4 processes hanging out. (csrss, dwm, winlogon, logonui). UserProfileManager was processing the registry during logoff and this keys below here have "recently(?)" begun growing to very large numbers it seems. Used ProcMon to determine the path and it was consistent for users having the issue.

We've got the Identity DIR excluded in our Ivanti EM pers. No moans from the user base.

Nice find. I have the “hung session” issue that has those 4 processes that I cannot terminate. I will add this as an exception and see if it fixes my problem also. Thanks for sharing !
