Multistream is used to break ica virtual channels out into seperate ports so you can apply qos tbh its hardly used as SD-WAN is far superior in that aspect. Audio over udp is probably what you want it uses DTLS and UDP and you need 16500-16509 open between the snip>vda's and udp 443 on external firewall and citrix polices enabled such as audio quality medium/audio over udp real time transport as well as enabling it on the workspace client with the receiver admx or you can add the config to the default.ica if u cant deploy gpos to unmanaged machines

Thanks John. I already have Audio over UDP configured with the appropriate policies set and can see the UDP ports being used but for some reason the audio is still very sketchy. I can start a video in youtube but there is no sound (this is across multiple browsers). When I look at the sound icon in the taskbar and view the output it shows there is sounds being played. If I then click on test sounds it will suddenly kick the audio into life and the video audio will be heard. I will completely disable multistream later just to see if it makes any difference. Thanks again.

You got all the client settings for receiver/workspace configured correctly you have to set these

Yes, have indeed. At the moment they are all unmanaged machines coming through the Gateway so have amended the default.ica file. Unfortunately I cannot get it tested from an office machine as the customer is not allowing anyone on site at the moment.

Right, very confused now. Have ruled out MultiStream as having any impact to audio but still getting very odd behaviour with audio. If I launch a session and kick off a YouTube video, I get no sound UNLESS I right click on the volume icon, open the Recording Tab then click back on the sounds tab. The audio then seems to kick in. This is consistent as well. The audio is fine for the duration of the browser session but if I close the browser and reopen the audio stops again until I open the Volume settings again and click on the Recording tab. We are using the base 1912 LTSR VDA and I have seen an article to add a KeepAlive reg but this has not made any difference.
For anyone who may have seen this thread, the issue was resolved when the 1912 LTSR CU2 VDA was installed. No other changes were necessary.
