Morning - supposedly a few more challenges with search in 2016 at the moment - if you see anything weird, let me know

I'm definitely seeing some odd behavior. My registry keys don't match the FSLogix Doc (https://docs.fslogix.com/display/20170529/FSLogix+Multi-user+Search). I have multi-user search enabled in GPO and applied to the OU the VM is in, and am missing the settings from your article (Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search\Preferences\EnablePerUserCatalog(REG_DWORD)) <- the whole entire EnablePerUserCatalog setting does not exist. When I check the logs, I am getting this: Error id 26; Error: Configured for Single-user Search, but this is a Multi-user environment (The parameter is incorrect). And when I check Outlook, it seems to be indexing, yet I can't find the actual index in my profile (oh, using UPM for profile, and ODFC). All settings for FSLogix are done via GPO, none directly via registry.

Silly Q, do you have roamsearch set to (1) single user or (2) multi user?
t
Depends on where I look. In HKLM\Software\FSLogix\Apps it's set to 2. In HKLM\Software\Policies\FSLogix\ODFC it's set to 1. ....Aaaaannnnnddddd.....looking into it further, looks like GPO is not configured correctly 😡. Going to change that and try again. Thanks James!

All good, search is fickle but fslogix logging is pretty good which helps
