Never seen it....it's not something to do with that "deployment operations to special profiles" GPO is it? Personally I'd just replace Calc with OldCalc, problem gone 🙂
a
Deployment operations to special profiles is not enabled. It's very odd because the native apps will install in the background 5mins after the user logs on so if you don't use calculator or photos for the first 5mins you are good. I'll have to dig into the FSLogix VHD to see if the packages are persistent in the user's AppData folder.

I'm with James on this one. I think the native apps are a bit of a mess and overly complicated for what they actually do. Users want what they want I though.

Any exclusions configured?

Intresting - See My Post about pinning those apps on taskbar. Could be the same problem

I remember @Matthias Schlimm talked about something similar @VCBAWUE Event... Maybe he can sched some light!?

Hey all, sorry for the late response. @Michael Wenger we do not have any exclusions configured, @Marco Zimmermann I'll take a look at your post but the apps aren't pinned to the taskbar but are pinned to the start menu. Thanks for the help!
