Stealth puppy has great set.

Nice one Ray, thank you sir. You ready for that article yet?
r
Close man.

Let me know when you're ready and we'll bash heads.

FYI I noticed that what's in the GitHub CSV is a much shorter list than what's in the original blog post https://github.com/aaronparker/FSLogix/blob/master/Redirections/Redirections.csv
and the shorter list seems like a better getting started point
a
Yes, use the list on GitHub or install the script from the PowerShellGallery to create the redirections.xml for you
d
Note the Chrome paths depend on if you've got GPO for Chrome set to use appdata\local or appdata\roaming, adjust the XML file accordingly. Or put in both and cover all bases...
n
^Yep. For Chrome, I used the related GPO and redirections from this site, and it seems to work well: https://www.sul.de/2019/04/05/fslogix-in-a-citrix-provisioning-environment/

I wish they did reg exclusions. I add them, but they are ignored lol
n
Yeah, that's one area I'd love for them to focus on. You can always eliminate what you need to using WEM for the time being.
r
I use wem and run a external task but its not always on point to delete the keys. How do you do it?
n
I don’t do it in Prod, but you can create an external task and run reg.exe delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Blah\Doh /f
r
That is exactly what i am doing lol. I need to look and see bow often it runs. I think the default is 30 minutes in wem. I dont set it to run only at login. The damn reg key keeps coming back. So i will have to do a log off script to delete it as well. Not if wem does log off scripts?
n
WEM doesn't, but that's probably best left for a GPO.
r
Ok cool thanks man.
