Afaik the snapshot has to reside on the same container you want to use for the MCS provisioned VMs

as far as I can tell it is......do you know how i can verify which container the machine catalog is on? i am almost certain i selected the new one when i created it successfully last night but i just cant get it to update now

ok yup the catalog shows MCS-02 and the Master VM also shows MCS-02 (snapshot taken off of that VM)

alright i'm the idiot on this one. i mistakenly removed the .template from the end of the command. all good now! thanks for the help either way!
