I have a use case for LAA, but haven't tested it yet.

I don't know anyone who use that feature I have only set it up in my lab, never in a production environment.

Got a couple of customers using it to "drop into" locally installed apps from a seamless published desktop, but not a common thing

I tested Local App Access with URL Redirection (not BCR) a few weeks ago. While LAA seems to work fine the URL redirection part works not so great. Then I had a call with Citrix Support where they (more or less) admitted that the documentation is outdated and no one feels called to update it.
