Are you using an cache drive with the workers? I think @Julian Mooren has an similar issue where a customer needs to rebuild the machine catalog if a specific amount of snapshots are present...
j
Is it working when you force shutdown the VDAs? Have a nutanix case running
m
I have one customer with AHV and a persitent cache drive with 7 snapshots so far and dont experience any issues...
j
@Julian Mooren you mean if we shut them down prior to running the update?
j
Update the catalog with no Auto deployment.
Then execute the shutdown via Citrix studio

We are seeing a lot of delays regarding power actions in general.

There has been a thread before, also some ntnx Knowledge Base Articles referenced. Fixed the delays in power actions for us: https://worldofeuc.slack.com/archives/CKLK4RYS2/p1648836223301479?thread_ts=1648822531.467319&cid=CKLK4RYS2

Thanks TS wanted to link this as well. My client reported it didn't help in that particular case
k
@Julian Mooren if you could DM me the case ticket, I'll be happy to have a look
j
No cache drive in use, and they do work properly if we do a manual shutdown
k
Check your power button config, your screensaver and sleep settings @James Rankin
We've got an KB article on the nutanix portal, sounds like an issue with how we do power management vs VM config
j
@Kees Baggerman I already had a call with Gaby regarding this problem. We are in good hands 🙂

Had similar on Nutanix but it was affecting Delivery Catalog scheduled reboots as well. Screensaver fix did not help. This article though fixed the Scheduled Reboot and the MCS catalog reboot issues for my client https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX237058
