you could do something as simple as Get-BrokerSession -Computername blah | Stop-BrokerSession

That may work, but i would like to log off the users, make some scripted changes or updates, then script it to reboot.

yeah, just do that first, with some timer.. it can take sometime to logout 10+ users on a system, say 15 minutes, then run another scheduled task
or you can run some form of check to see if users are still logged in
or, something like this
