I can't recall if there's a policy in Edge to allow/disable extensions in other stores, but do you have the Google store path in the policy for that extension? That worked fine for us in Edge:

 Is created by policy. Tried to manuelly install the addon, to exclude nothing gets blocked and it worked :man-shrugging:
