I freaking hate all things Dragon Naturally Speaking for EUC
n
You and me both. But our doctors love it and think it's just as important as our EMR now.
s
Fortunately for me, the cost is high enough that it's prevented the business from buying it.
But we get questions about it all the time and I just loath the day we are asked to deploy it
n
We reluctantly installed it in our XD vDisk, but only because the thought of managing full client installs throughout the hospital and remote sites made us all sick.

yep

@Nick Panaccio Can you apply the Client Audio Redirection policy change to an AD group and deliver via GPO only for the Dragon users?
n
I wish I could, but our Dragon users also need the other workflow, as well. Everyone needs to be able to go to any thin client and use it, so I can't designate certain devices as 'dictation' devices, etc. My current solution, pending the results of my ticket with IGEL, is to train the users to not plug anything into the device until their Citrix desktop has finished loading. That's the only workflow in which the microphones map while remaining Enabled.
