I'm finding issues unless I remove an odd group called "RESTRICTED" that appears on the ACL for the Registry permissions within the profile. Remove this ACE, and all seems to work OK.......

@James Rankin I don’t see a group called restricted but I do see a SID that if I try to remove it comes back.

Ironically I had a case open with Microsoft, they said my issue was environmental and they referenced your blogs @James Rankin for creating a mandatory profile as the solution. So, you are the mandatory profile expert in the eyes of Microsoft.

Hahaha, well I am in the middle of trying to create a script that takes a default profile or a user profile and makes it mandatory, so hopefully if I can get that done it might help everyone out - current article feels a bit outdated
