At 8GB per desktop... how many desktops do you think you can run on 64GB? Not sure about the CPU but that’s 7, maybe 8 desktops. While I’m not familiar with the cpu in that box ram will probably your constraint

Always, but prefer 4x nodes with 64 than 2x 128. Picking up 2 more though, for 3 node Nutanix Cluster. Any update on all NVMe flash in CE?

I think @Cláudio Rodrigues is looking for more density so more RAM would help. Could do custom build with same case and go high core count board as well.

Assume the HW has 128GB. Realistically how many W10 VMs I would be able to run if the specs were 2vCPU/6GB, 2vCPU/8GB and 4vCPU/8GB. Asking as I do not have the HW to test this and would like to price a solution that would support up to 50 users, VDI.

With 128GB 50 will be hard to do at those memories sizes

50 users at 8GB means 400GB RAM needed, you’d need some RAM for the Hypervisor (regardless which one you’d pick) as well. 400/128= 3,2 servers so 4 and 5 for N+1

That is what I was looking for. If 5 servers are needed all fine.
