VM's must match numa values of the CPU on the hosts for overcommit ratios for server OS i tend to stick to zero over commit or sometimes i stretch to 1.2:1 to 1.5:1 i don't include logical cores (hyperthreading) in that calculation

@c4rm0 I've also got Synergy 480 and I'm running XS 8.2. We haven't placed any user load on them yet, but so far I'm using the same 2016 footprint on my newer hardware - 8vCPU and 32GB RAM. I tried to find NUMA info for my CPU - Xeon Gold 6148 2.4GHz, but wasn't able to find anything definitive. Is there a resource that provides this info (tried looking up the CPU on the Intel site)

Coreinfo from Sysinternals is what I just used and it reports that I don't have any NUMA nodes. I don't know if I have to activate this in the BIOS or if it's even configurable.

Try ā€žxl info -nā€œ in the cli. Should show you the sockets, CPUs, cores and NUMA Nodes.
