yeah the systems guys did not know about this tool, anyway best way to block it on a domain or at least prevent logging in with hotmail.com accounts, block on bitdefender, applocker and firewall, or remove from image when building machines, bite late for that when halfway through a W10 upgrade.

Basically you load quickassist.exe from the start menu on both machine, someone logs into the give help and rather than selecting your default work email address you select Hotmail and it signs you in and generates a 6 digit code, you then give this to the person you want to remote onto and a connection is established . apparently this replaces remote.assist going forward but very few people know about it...

Another thing for AppLocker or FSLogix to nuke then
