The weirdest thing is that pretty much every monitoring product has moved to mixing static and dynamic thresholds but you really do need to mix them to make them usable otherwise you get all kinds of weird alert storms if it's a public holiday but the type of threshold is at the top of the hierarchy in azure vs being a threshold as top object - feels upside down
