Dreading our upcoming renewal in Q1.
Pay more and get less features than our cloud options.

I saw Citrix announced last year they were no longer going to sell new permanent licenses and then earlier this year that permanent licenses CSS costs/renewals were going to keep increasing year on year. Seems like they are trying to force everyone onto subscription/cloud model going forwards.

In my opinion, Citrix price increase policy is not very wise and is short-sighted.
Most companies with such an increase will be outside the planned budget and will start thinking about migrating to competitive solutions.
Subscriptions? It’s much more expensive for longterm usage 🤷🏻♂️

Wow, 18% more! That’s huge…
Welcome to the subscription-world where everyone wants more of your money for the same service. For everything, even taking note apps. It’s a nightmare.

At 18% I would be asking for cloud licencing and going cloud. That’s where all the cool and useful stuff is these days
