Lots of emails?
j
Well, they get about 200 a day, but there are no attachments (or very few) - I don't think that's enough to make it that big though? (For comparison, I have a full cache for six years of about 18GB)

Cant you check from Outlook to see what’s consuming storage?
j
Dunno, can you?
It's the OST, not the mailbox.....can you see OST usage somewhere in Outlook?
k
I’m nowhere near my laptop so I can’t test if it works for OSTs but you can get an overview of folder sizes for an mailbox

Goto file > info > cleanup tools> view mailbox size, that may be helpful

Could be a rule which is moving emails from another mailbox to hers - maybe a sub folder, or she has large attachments possibly?would be curious to know if the OST file was generated from fresh but not on the fslogix share but locally on the hard drive/ local VDI session

And it turns out that the affected users don't actually have 3 months' cache - they have 18 months 😡 still big, but much more believable.....and a repeat of the object lesson that in IT, never, EVER believe what people tell you unless you actually check it yourself
