are you allowed to "introduce" another product? If so, I can check if 4.6 still works on our free IWC product (the old RES), there you only need a share and browse to the osd, we will perform all the other stuff then. I'm not sure what's really needed for UWM, but can ask
j
Customer actually has RES as well as UWM, but they're trying to avoid building up lots of "traditional" infra in the cloud. If there aren't lots of server requirements, we might be able to get away with it.......
d
only 1 share and 1 sql instance needed for it
Added to the showcase: https://vimeo.com/showcase/iwcproductdemo Basic installation shows the few steps needed, I can help setting up the stuff in between my work here if needed. But let me first see if it still works, need the 4.6 client for that and an osd, will check that tonight
j
Would that be a full-fat SQL instance or could it use the SQL Azure service? (I expect full-fat, but thought I'd ask just in case)
d
SQL Azure is also supported

Not used it in a while but App-V scheduler worked well and didnt require a full App-v infra
j

c

sftmime ADD PACKAGE:"<App Name>" /MANIFEST "<Path to xml>" /OVERRIDEURL "<Path to SFT>" /GLOBAL
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SoftGrid\4.5\Client\Configuration” Change the value of “AllowIndependentFileStreaming” from 0 (FALSE) to 1 (TRUE).
