not that i know of, i think that is just reserved for WVD or whatever microsoft is calling it these days. unless something changed..
j
is this utilizing it being backed by a WVD deployment?
m
It’s a citrix cloud deployment

I doubt that's allowed. You can broker via horizon if the workload is running natively in Azure, but I'd be very surprised (pleasantly) if you were allowed to deploy win10 multi on anything that is not native azure fabric
m
Windows 10 1909 SAC (Enterprise multi-session) is supported according to kb 70965 “Supported versions of Windows 10 with VMware Horizon Cloud Service” which is only available via google cache now…
It’s only the versions with office 365 that don’t seem to be supported
So it seems if you create it in vanilla azure you can then import it into vmware cloud as a gold image
but they aren’t super clear on that part
j
you can't take win10 multi out of azure legally, as long as it's running in azure it's fine
m
it’s vmware cloud in azure, so it’s still in azure I guess
Can’t see any guides from anyone who has done it
j
Different than what I took your q to be - are you talking VMware on azure (azure VMware solution) or horizon cloud with workloads in azure
m
the full vmware on azure solution
it’s not horizon
it’s citrix cloud on vmware on azure
j
Yeah that's what I thought, in that case I'll go with first stance - doubt it's ok. Microsoft question for sure
m
Need to find an MS licensing person, that’ll be fun
j
Maybe try Twitter with a couple of the AVD guys?
m
who are they these days?
j
Toby brown, Tom Hickling, even Jen Sheerin might be a touch point, not sure if Brinkhoff plays there now
