Having the same issue. Did it start after rolling out windows patches? It seemed to for us.
We are on 1912 cu4
Also on Apex One
Support said to try adding HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\CtxUvi = reg_dword "UviEnabled" and set to 1
And to reinstall VDA software on master image if that doesn't work.

Hi, we are having this issue since april 2021, so i don't think it's related to windows updates. Our trendmicro support said, that maybe it's related to adobe reader update during user login (per task scheduler). We are gonna have a look at it. Have you solved it so far?
i
No, this started on Monday Jan 24th for us. I will look at Adobe today. Thank you for the update
Not solved but trend sent me a patch for apex one this morning. I'll let you know if it fixes it
r
cool, can you tell me your case id, maybe i will get the same patch as well?
we got an answer from trendmicro. seems that they are aware of it and trying to investigate. something about tmlocfg.ptn pattern file
k
seeing the same issue since january 12 - also using trendmicro but just the officescan/worryfree. the registry key UVIEnabled did not help. customer uninstalled trendmicro yesterday... waiting for feedback
i
Yes the Trend patch consisted of replacing the .ptn files with the one they sent us. So far so good, help desk phones are silent for the 1st time in 3 days.

Hi @Isaac L, we're seeing the same issue since we updated our PVS image. Did the patch for ApexOne resolve the issue for you? And if so, did Trend Micro mention anything about the fix going public?
i
@Philipp Mair I apologize for the very late reply. Yes the patch fixed our issue. They did not mention anything about going public with it.
p
Hi @Isaac L, no worries. We excluded
%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\CtxUvi.sys
from real time and upgraded ApexOne to build 10071. At the moment the issue seems to be resolved.
