I know <@UL5TCSW3D> uses AppVentix with MSIX. AppVenteix supports App Attach, but I don't know if he is using that feature though

Appventix works very well with MSIX. It can do App Attach as well, and it works pretty well in the scenarios I've used it in (normally just on RDSH). However, I haven't thrown anything particularly challenging at it yet - just done straight conversions from App-V

I used FlexApps in the past, and it was awesome. But this time around, I am looking to stay in the MS house and see what they have. I am looking to do the Package-Sequence machine, install the app, capture the VHDX, and attach based on user. Going to lab it out, and see how involved it is.

<@UKJTJD4KA> any insight as to why? Is it MSIX or AppAttach that is the problem? We are just starting our AppAttach adventure and I'm finding it working well in the lab so far.  A few apps don't like the MSIX container but I haven't had any issues at all with the AppAttach part, once its up and running.

I may have heard something wrong, of dreamed this. Was MS going to add this into the FSLogix product line?

Not that I am aware of. MSIX App Attach is part FSLogix, under the hood (or so I heard). It's a blend of FSLogix App Container and App-V 6

MSIX AppAttach is only available on AVD correct?   There's no onprem solution we can use with Citrix in our data centers, correct?

just use AppVentix and you get a proper interface and deployment control for MSIX, App Attach, App-V and FSLogix

Ty.  I remember seeing a demo where it was a wizrd you walked thru, seemed pretty simple

There are no wizards for on-prem.  Unless you count yourself a wizard :grinning:

There are Powershell for on-prem AppAttach, or AppVentix :slightly_smiling_face:

AppVentix is all you need, cloud or on-prem, cheap as chips too

App-ventix looks very cool, the site license price has me worried though.  anytime i see that, i think big money that small orgs don't have.  we're around 100 vdi users per day.

Anyone has some numbers? I have no idea of how much we're talking here for a site license?

<@U02LGMH26JZ> complexity, stability and in the end a “why” that one customer couldn't answer. Not sure on the why of app-attach myself. Huge vote here to appventix and don't let price worry you. Bram is an amazing human too
