Keep it short, have a technical summary at the start, concentrate on the relevant stuff
n
Looks like I'd have to limit it to my previous 2 jobs to fit on a single page, but since that timespan covers 2009+, that's probably fine. I also wonder about the format (using this site as an example: https://zety.com/resume-templates). My old resume is closer to "Nanica" than the others, and I was considering something like "Cascade".

This is what I have: Cover Letter describing who I am, where I worked + main responsibilities, languages that I speak. Next pages cover my work per employee, where it's consultant work I describe the technical stuff, then last pages I sum-up the courses and certifications

I've got a three-page CV but I keep each job description pretty brief - client, number of users, key technologies, main responsibilities, etc. Most of the good stuff is in the "summary" at the start
n
That sounds like what I currently have, Dennis.
Working on a new 'objective' at the top to summarize what I've been doing, but don't want to get into the weeds with details that will be duplicated below.
And perhaps 3:30am isn't the best time for this exercise, haha...

Christ! Go to bed. I thought you didn't normally partake at this hour

I'm sitting on a command center call for a go-live which I have nothing to do with, so I'm trying to kill time effectively...

I always find beer helps. Makes it feel less of a struggle to write. 🍺

mine was/is a two pager with more of an overview instead of a list of places I worked and kinder garden it attended. more what my interests are, where I shine (short list 😉 ) and so on

Well, sounds like I'll have my first interview in over 9 years coming up shortly. I may or may not enjoy brushing up on some of the Citrix tech that I don't regularly work on just to be safe.
