Have you tried the relevant doc script from me? use -section Catalogs, Groups -mc -dg
j
Not yet, but I'm using the same cmdlet. Looking at your script, the command line is the same too. I'm glad you responded, as I meant to tag you. It's just bizarre how it works from the Domain Controller but not remotely.

Run the script with the parameters I gave and let me know. I’m on the road so no lab access

Aha...I have found the issue is for 7.15. 1912 and 2203 sites work fine.
w
Good to know
j
Yeah, but I need 7.15 to be the lowest supported version of my tool. So I'll need to find another way to get the data I need. What a PITA. This issue is not documented anywhere that I can find.
Citrix have been able to replicate the issue. Looks like a bug! I'm waiting for official confirmation. What a PITA
w
They rarely fix bugs found in PowerShell. I know, I have reported numerous bugs

I'm using my TAM to escalate and a will blog about it, so will do my best to put some pressure on this issue. They fixed one with the SDK back in August that I raised, so hopefully it will get the focus I need, or I will be unable to release the help desk functionality of my Self-Service Session Reset Tool :-(
Citrix are building me a private hotfix. I've asked for them to do the Remote PowerShell SDK first, and then they can update the cmdlets as part of Studio. Hard to believe no one else has ever come across this.
So Citrix cannot fix this! It's been broken since 1912 release (some 3 years) and it's not backward compatible for 7.15. They basically moved the "class" into a different module, so it can no longer deserialisze the data. As a workaround I'm using the Get-BrokerScopedObject, but there's a bit of messing about to turn the data into what I wanted from the Get-BrokerdesktopGroup.
