XenServer and Packer

Hello! 
Does anyone use Packer with XenServer?

I know there is no official Packer plugin for XenServer and that this setup is not officially supported.

Does anyone know if official support is planned for the near future?

Yes, I do.  Last i heard was in July that the official GA release would be Q3/4 of 2026...so hoping any month now.

I do use Packer with Xenserver but without the plugin, i have a build machine that will revert to a clean snapshot on start deployment

I use it as well. This is a larger answer than this thread if you're just getting started but...Citrix has a decent way to get started depending on what you are trying to do with Packer.

guessing <@ULCEZ01UZ> is using the 'null' builder from packer on his VM.  So basically no hypervisor tasks, just straight up talking to the VM itself to run whatever installs/workflow thats needed.
