Hi everyone, Are you aware that Citrix may have changed the administrator permissions structure in the Citrix DaaS? Here’s the background: I wanted to create a new machine catalog, but a warning triangle appears next to all “Hosting Units” with the message: “You do not have permission to access the zone for this resource; the catalog will be placed in the default zone.” When I click through the steps to create the machine catalog and the process begins, the following error message appears immediately: _Action Name: MC_CreateMachineCatalogInitialization_ Exception: StudioErrorId : NoZoneAvailable Error Source : CitrixBrokerService Sdk Error Message : No available zones Sdk Error ID : Citrix.XDPowerShell.Broker.NoZoneAvailable,Citrix.Broker.Admin.SDK.NewBrokerCatalogCommand ErrorCategory : NotSpecified Do you know more about this? My permissions in DaaS haven't changed. But I'm anything but a “cloud administrator.”

Are you logged on with Citrix identity or with a Entra user / role assigned?

With my Citrix Identity

Thats interesting. I think I have the same issue now 😄 Created a new admin for a customer, same role permissions, he isn't able to do anything, everything is greyed out - exactly the same role permissions as the other admins. I might open a case
Can you check your Role permissions in Web Studio -> Administrators? I've noticed, when now adding a new admin via IAM and assigning DaaS Roles, in Web Studio, Administrators, the User and Roles never appear. Which results in a User having NO rights and access to DaaS / Monitor. Not sure if it's just an issue with one of my customer tenants (which is a multi-tenant) or a general thing. Also I can see some Users in Administrators in Web-Studio, which aren't there in IAM, so I think the Sync between IAM Admins and DaaS Web Studio is broken?!

Hey Julian, In our case, for whatever reason, the connection was no longer assigned to the zone. It had nothing to do with roles or administrators.
