Hi everyone, I have an unusual issue with the FAS that I'm hoping someone has experienced before. I have 2 FAS servers configured as subordinate CA. However, whenever the root CA reboots, FAS stops functioning for about 8 to 12 hours, and then it will start working again. If anyone has any insights or can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

someone has configured Citrix DaaS profile containers together with O365? would you say that FSLogix is a better solution for both user profile containers and O365 profile containers compared to the DaaS profile containers? seems like citrix DaaS profile containers doesn't have any O365 containers

I've setup a DaaS site, and got a VDA registered with Citrix Cloud through a cloud connector. When attempting to launch the desktop, I'm not able to connect, and CWA gives these logs: I'm trying to find relevant logs, but not seeing anything on the cloud connector, vda or in Citrix Cloud. Any tips?

Someone had this before? I install teams and the teams addin according to this, pretty straight forward with the bootstrapper. After that I launch teams, login(works fine). Then I launch outlook, login and once I click on the calendar, outlook crashes, launches again and gives me this. This installation with teams and team addin seems very unstable. I'm installing this on a MCS image btw.

Hello, I have a customer receiving the following email, however based on this article https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-cloud/citrix-cloud-management/identity-access-management/saml-service-provider-signing-certificate.html my customer should not be impacted as SAML connection within Citrix Cloud is configured with Sign Authentication Requests = No. What I don't understand here is that Citrix as access to the configuration and can check the value, in this case this email should not be sent. Can some confirm? @Yuhua Lu? Thanks!!

In DaaS Monitor, list all active Sessions, why isn't there a filter column to include "Connected Via" which would give a great overview who's connected internal directly VS via GW-Service. Thanks @Jose Augustin

Hello everyone, We are testing the new Citrix feature "ease-your-virtual-machine-device-management-with-mcs-intune". We have created a persistent VM in Azure, set up an MCS machine catalog and a delivery group. The machine is registered in Azure (entra id) and Citrix DaaS . When accessing via the Workspace app, we have to enter username and password. Is this normal or do we need FAS? Has anyone tested this feature? Thank you for your input. @Julian Jakob

Autoscale with Tags. I'm having one Delivery Group (100 machines) with two Tags which are used for different VM-RAM-Sizing VDI's, pooled. Let's say "Standard" and "High" Tags, about 70 Standard and 30 High Machines. We don't want to make Autoscale startup all VDI's during the weekend - but as Autoscale is doing it randomly, it's often happening that there are not enough High Machines booted up so the User has to wait for the startup, hybridjoin isn't directly done so there are subsequent errors... Is there no setting to do a more detailed Autoscale for tagged Machines? Like boot up about 80% of Tag "High" but only 30% of Tag "Standard" during the Weekend? I know with two different DG's that issue is gone, but we want to use tagging (because of other filter). I've found that setting (Screenshot) but I think that's something different and is not doing what we need. Thank you

Just checking my backup strategy for Citrix DAAS site I am using the Backup and restore in web studio to take scheduled weekly backups of the site configuration with a backup pinned. I then download this weekly backup with the Citrix ACT tool using Copy-CvadAcBackupsFromSite and then store this on site. If web studio is available i can use the weekly backup to restore items such as appplications/machines/polices/catalogs/admin ect all good....... If backup & restore function within web studio is not available ? i presume i would run merge-cvadacTosite or import-cvadacTosite using the downloaded backup to restore configuration ? hows others handling the backup strategy of cloud DAAS config

Hi guys, what is the reason of configuring WEM cache on persistent disk when running an environment with non-persistent VDAs onprem and rest of the Citrix infrastructure in Citrix Cloud?

The start menu redirection through legacy WEM in Citrix Cloud is so bad. I have been stuck on this for weeks now. Went through a bunch of guides & blogs and I am surprised how bad this is documented and how bad its working in Citrix. It seems like its impossible to just configure start menu folder redirection in WEM, set the layout and have trust in the product that the settings will actually apply once the user logs on. I am embarrassed to let any user login to an environment where the WEM start menu settings will not apply on the first logon, but magically apply the second time the user logs in and everything works perfectly fine at that point. What am I supposed to tell the customer? "Please login twice so WEM can apply the second time?" lol.. WEM is so bad that I am seriously considering to just configure start menu folder redirection through GPOs from 2010 to actually make this more stable. Why does WEM have the start menu folder redirection added in LEGACY WEM in Citrix Cloud but not in the new Web console? that's so embarrassing. Cant believe we paid this much for the Citrix license and a simple folder redirection setting can't even be stable. Bunch of outdated nonsense information scattered all over the internet which doesn't apply to real life scenarios. Sad really.. EDIT: For those who are running their VDAs onprem while running the rest of the Citrix infrastructure in Citrix Cloud. If you are having issues with WEM sync, these two powershell commands will not help you: • AgentCacheUtility.exe -RefreshCache • AgentCacheUtility.exe -RefreshSettings Restarting the VDAs then running above will not help either. Stopping the WEM service, removing the cache files, restarting the VDAs will not help either. The only thing that consistently updates the local cache files on the VDAs while having the environment configured with offline mode is to run the Refresh Cache & Refresh Agent host Cache FROM CITRIX CLOUD. Remember, FROM CITRIX CLOUD. (check the thread to see the pictures that I have pasted aswell) I am in contact with Citrix to understand how I can connect to the Citrix Cloud API so that I can run this automatically everytime the VDAs onprem are restarted during the night.

Hey all: We've been having this pesky issue where some of our Users are getting a "Session Limit Reached" pop-up when they try to launch their Static VDIs. I assigned one such problem machine to myself and got the same pop-up. Did a "Refresh Apps" in the CWA, still got it; did a "Force Shutdown" in DaaS (getting rid of all Sessions), waited for it to come up and register, same thing. VMs are On-Prem and we have tons of Licenses; 2402 LTSR CU2 on the VDAs. While I was thinking about what else to try, I did the "Force Shutdown" thing one more time and then it launched. So dumb (as Shoresy says). Any thoughts?

Good morning guys, does someone have a nice guide on how to configure persistent VDIs together with SCCM through MCS? how to build the master image and how to make sure that there are no issues with the SMS host service and certificates. I am thinking of utilizing the current SCCM infrastructure that the customer has instead of building a VDI image from scratch. Curious to hear your ideas and thoughts!

Morning and Happy Friday: Simple question, why does Citrix Performance Analytics show a particular User as having eight Sessions in a "Connected" state? The User does not, in fact, currently have more than 1 Connected session... Is there some sort of Cache in Performance Analytics that needs to be cleared? Anything else I can do?

Does anyone have experience with VDI optimization? I have the VDIs in vmware onprem, rest of the Citrix infrastructure is in Cloud. I have already used the Citrix optimizer tool on my W11 VDIs but I would like to know if someone can share some Citrix policies, vmware settings perhaps etc that can increase the VDI performance. These VDIs are going to be used by developers so they will be quite beefy. Thanks in advance!

Got this error yesterday Citrix DaaS 2402 CU2 - MCS Catalog update fails with MDM error and noticed Citrix recently created/updated the article; i had been on 2402 LTSR CU2 (re-released) previously and no issue when i updated the Win10MS to 2402 LTSR CU2 re-released. Resolved it with the help of this more detailed article: powershell-scripts/Remove-IntuneCurrentEnrollment.ps1 at master · steve-prentice/powershell-scripts . The CTX article didn't provide a solution but did point me to Intune...

Infrastructure monitoring preview setup for Lab. Storefront configured and receiving data. I get these 4 item showing an error: IIS Certificate Validity, IIS Certificate Chain Validity, ICA Certificate Validity, ICA Certificate Chain Validity. I do have a SSL cert bound to IIS and site is listening on HTTPS. For local drive passthrough we only want to enable this from our XenDesktop connecting to our XenApp applications. We don't want to pass through the end users local drives outside of XenDesktop. This is for Google Drive access on our XenApp servers which don't support Google Drive. Is this possible to configure on Citrix DaaS?

Has anyone ever had issues with teams (classic) whitescreening on VDAs when someone initiates a call, uploads a gif, etc.? Normal message threads have no issues. We've found if we remove the cache it works for about a day then happens again. We use fslogix with inclusions/exclusions so I'm wondering if something changed and I need to make adjustments to the exclusion list.

Anyone had luck installing new teams to server 2019 multisession? It shows up under apps and features but no listing under the users start menu.
