Anyone hosting cloud connectors in Azure? What machine type are you guys using? Citrix advisor says it wants 4 cores per socket.

yes, we have 2 per AZ region that we use. we're using Standard D4s v3 (4 vcpus, 16 GiB memory). 2,400 unique users/day

I've got a client happily using E2as v5 (2 vcpu 16GB memory) for a very small environment with 80 users/day mostly using rendezvous so little load through the connectors.

It sounds like Citrix recommendations for 4 cores is specifically related to LHC. I switched to F8S and configured it for 4 sockets.

The answer will depend on what you're asking your connectors to do, and how many of them you have. If you're routing HDX through them, or using LHC/service continuity they'll need to be higher spec'ed than if they are just doing metadata and brokering.
