09/08/2026, 7:51 PMHas anyone seen an issue where CWA 26.07 on Windows breaks Windows Screen Snipping tool? At first I thought it was app protection, but normally that just blacks out the screen, and other snipping tools work fine. Once it's broken it stays broken between reboots. As soon as I uninstall 26.07 and reboot, screen snipping works. And it will continue to work until I connect to a Windows VDA, then it breaks again. But only Windows VDA. Works fine with linux vda.

09/09/2026, 11:48 AMI think it is something with my Windows Insider build. Rolled back through 2603.11 and 2603.10, same problem as 2607. I turned off app protection on that delivery group, and same issue exists. Going to put in a notice to MS Insider program, and also try turning off device trust as well to see if any of that could be triggering the lockdown on windows. I can use a different screen snip program just fine.
