This release brings together the innovations, enhancements, and platform improvements introduced since the 2507 LTSR, providing a stable and enterprise-ready foundation for long-term deployments. ✅ Citrix Workspace App for Windows 2607 LTSR (x64) Is Available Citrix Workspace App for Windows 2607 LTSR represents a major milestone in the transition to a native 64-bit architecture. The move to 64-bit enables Citrix Workspace App to take advantage of modern Windows platform capabilities, improved memory utilization, enhanced scalability, and greater efficiency for demanding enterprise workloads. Internal testing has demonstrated lower CPU utilization and fewer CPU spikes compared with equivalent 32-bit (x86) deployments, particularly in knowledge-worker scenarios. Results may vary across customer test and production environments. ✅ Includes 64-bit versions of the Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Cisco Webex optimization plugins ✅ Aligns with the industry’s ongoing transition toward 64-bit computing Important: Citrix Workspace App 2607 LTSR is the final LTSR release supporting 32-bit (x86) deployments. Citrix Workspace App 2707 LTSR and all future releases will be 64-bit only. Organizations using 32-bit custom Virtual Channels should engage with their vendors to ensure 64-bit-compatible versions are available. Support for 32-bit custom Virtual Channels will end with the release of Citrix Workspace App 2707 LTSR. 🌟 Native ARM64 Support Now Generally Available Another major highlight of this release is the general availability of native ARM64 support. Citrix Workspace App now runs natively on Windows ARM64 devices without x86 emulation, delivering improved performance, reduced resource consumption, and an optimized experience on modern ARM-based Windows endpoints. ✨ Key Enhancements Included in 2607 LTSR Since the 2507 LTSR, Citrix Workspace App for Windows has introduced significant advancements across platform modernization, user experience, security, performance, and manageability, including: 🔹 Microsoft Desktop Runtime 10.x support for improved performance, enhanced security, and long-term Microsoft support. 🔹 Always On Tracing (AOT) enhancements, including support for Gateway deployment scenarios. 🔹 AI Upscaling with NVIDIA RTX Super Resolution (GA) to upscale session content on the client device while reducing bandwidth consumption and maintaining image quality. 🔹 Session Recording Add-On Support for endpoint-perspective session recording for compliance, auditing, and troubleshooting. 🔹 Enhanced Multi-Monitor Experience, including monitor selection, improved dock and undock behavior, and mixed-DPI support. 🔹 Enhanced Touch Keyboard Experience with intelligent automatic display behavior, expanded input options, handwriting and emoji support, and improved auto-scrolling. 🔹 Storebrowse SDK In-Memory ICA File Handling, allowing ICA files to be processed in memory without writing sensitive connection data to disk. 🔹 Optimized Overlay Clipping for Multimedia Sessions, improving how user-interface elements appear with video content in HDX-optimized sessions while reducing VDA CPU utilization. 🔹 Enhanced EDT Lossy Connection Support with Secure HDX, simplifying configuration by recognizing Secure HDX 2.0 as a valid encryption method. 🔹 Anti-DLL Injection Event Logging, providing administrators with visibility into untrusted module-load attempts through Windows Event Viewer and Director or Monitor without displaying notifications to end users. 📦 Availability and Rollout Citrix Workspace App for Windows 2607 LTSR is now generally available. As part of our standard release process, newly released versions are initially available through Citrix Downloads and require customers to sign in with a Citrix account to access the download. During this phase, we monitor deployment health, adoption, and feedback as the release is rolled out across Citrix-managed environments.
