Citrix Workspace community. The release of CWA for Windows 2607 LTSR has a Redesigned Settings experience which is in Tech Preview. If any of your customers are interested in trying evaluating this feature while it is in Tech Preview and provide us their feedback please feel free to reach and I can put in touch with the Product Manager owning this feature. Here are details about this feature: Redesigned Settings Experience 🚀 - The settings experience in Citrix Workspace app for Windows has been completely redesigned. This initiative delivers a more intuitive, streamlined, and consistent interface with unified nomenclature and interaction patterns. The legacy tabbed preferences window has been replaced by a modern, vertically navigated settings interface organized under standardized categories. Settings are now reorganized, relabeled, and consolidated into six intuitive groups: ✨General ✨Sound and camera ✨Keyboard ✨Devices ✨Display ✨Privacy and security Overall, the 🖥️ settings - App Preferences, In-Session preferences, the Store Management (Account) and Support (Troubleshooting) interfaces have been revamped, and a built‑in search bar enables instant discovery of any setting by keyword. How to access the feature: redesigned-settings-experience | Citrix Workspace™ app for Windows ✍️*Your Feedback Matters!* We invite you to explore these changes in the EAR build and experience the feature firsthand. Please share your feedback on usability, functionality, and performance—your input is invaluable in helping us identify and resolve potential issues ahead of the official release.

d
@Nick Panaccio yes there are screenshots in the following redesigned-settings-experience | Citrix Workspace™ app for Windows

I swear I am blind today
Honestly did not see the link
Redesign looks really good.
d
@Nick Panaccio Your not.. the link had a problem, so I had to remove and then put the fixed one back.
k
I enabled it on my workstation to test, so here's a few other ones.
d
It will be in the CR as a TP as well.
n
i knew it

You can also get to it from here. The PM for this feature would love to get feedback
n
I'll look out for it on the CR side

What about a tech preview for connection center on Mac? 🙂

Hi - We have performance issues with the previous CWA 2603 - and we can reproduce the same errors in CWA 2607 - we have a Citrix Support Case on this and will provide information when we have news and updates
j
So I have found a couple of bugs with 2607, but that feedback form is not for public consumption. Is there another place to provide feedback?
d
I will check into why the feedback form is not having public access
@Jeff Riechers does the link above not work for you?
@Keith Perri do you want if I share your contact info with the PM driving the New Settings so can provide feedback to him directly

@Brian Leffler Kruse Are you using VDA 2402 CU4 ? 🤔
👍 1
j
@Darius Shafie working now. Previously it was having me try and login.
On a side note. If you are testing Windows 11 Insider future build, with Nvidia driver I was having major graphic issues once I upgraded to 2607 CWA, latest App Assistant wouldn't load, but previous would. Ended up being GPU counter hardening that MS is rolling out. I had to adjust my Nvidia GPU Performance Counters to all users instead of admin users only. Because even admins were having issues. It also was interfering with other windows components that hook the gpu, like screen snip wouldn't work. Changed that setting, and it was back to normal.
b
@Arthur we use VDA 2603 and currently CWA 2402 LTSR
a
@Brian Leffler Kruse is it similar to fixed issue in CU3 CWA 2507 ? • When connecting to VDA 2402 CU4 in a hybrid CVAD environment, the
wfica32.exe
process might consume excessive CPU resources on the client endpoint. [CVADHELP-33806]
b
@Arthur we had same issues with 2507 - hence Citrix recommended to stay on 2402
a
Unbelievable, and it exposes a clear technological gap in CWA. Currently, every major issue affecting our environment forces us to roll back to a previous working version, which should only ever be a temporary workaround. CWA needs a next-generation approach. While CUs are fine, waiting months for them is unacceptable - especially when Citrix often already has the fixed code ready. The only viable solution to improve user experience is to introduce micro-updates without waiting for a full CU release. However, this will require a slight architectural redesign of CWA to support such a delivery model. @Darius Shafie

I have also tested 2603 and 2607 and they have the same issues - also with some graphical "ghosting"that can be seen in Excel when moving through the cells
