We migrated Citrix workloads from VMWare to XenServer. We have 900 PVS target machines and 15 MCS machines. MCS machines on initial boot gets DHCP IP and it works, after few days MCS machines loses IP and gets an APIPA address. PVS targets on the same pool and same DHCP VLAN working fine. We are not sure where the issue. Whether MCS handles DHCP lease renewals differently?

I've never seen MCS lose IP addresses and it be MCS related. DHCP would be a function of Windows so at that point

Just to make sure the ez stuff is covered... It's not an issue with a full DHCP pool is it??
Interesting bug to know about . I'm very curious if that turns out to be the issue

That's right. We have 800 odd PVS target machines with no issues but 15 MCS machines are having issue. MCS : May 12, 2026—KB5087539(OS Build 26100.32860) PVS: April 14, 2026—KB5082063(OS Build 26100.32690)
