We are building a new 2025 image with UEFI, but when we boot from the new vDisk we get “EFI system partition (ESP) error: Unsupported”. The PVS Connector has Offload Compositing enabled with VHDX as the disk format. The VMware Connector has our PVS template selected. When we create the Platform Layer we see the EFI partition, but when we mount the vDisk there is no EFI partition. We also cloned our VM Master and created a vDisk from that VM and it boots fine, so this does not seem to be a PVS issue. What are we missing?

Sounds like your offload compositing connector (listed in the PVS connector) is using a Template that has UEFI enabled, but what about the template being used by PVS? This is assuming you are using a different template.
FWIW, this is what the boot options of our S25 template VM for PVS looks like (our template is a clone of this VM):

Templates looks like your picture. When checking on a running TD does it have a EFI partition?

Sure is:

> Sounds like your offload compositing connector (listed in the PVS connector) is using a Template that has UEFI enabled Make sure this ☝️ is actually true. The only way to end up without an EFI partition on your published image is if the compositing machine wasn't an UEFI VM. It might be that you accidently have the wrong offloading connector selected in your PVS connector config. Also check your image template and make sure you have the correct PVS connector selected there.

Yeah, start a new Platform layer build using that connector and check for the EFI disk there

Found the issue, it was the Offload Connector for the PVS Connector that pointed to a old vmware connector that didn't thave any VM Template selected. Thanks for the help
