so i dont think this has anything to do with citrix neccesarily but all the sudden my non persistant w11 25h2 (happened on 24h2) started to always ask for Password for installed applications like Cisco Jabber, Claude desktop, etc meanwhile our 2025 retain that information always. I think its something specific to W11 and started maybe 2 months ago, i just kept thinkng itll get patched up but still not working. Very strange behavior. Latest windows 11 25h2 updates. VDA 2511. Latest fslogix. Outside of the 25h2 update. The other things were as is and those applications retained the info

Are those creds federated to MS? Could be the Windows 11 didn't leave azure AD during image build and they are all trying to use the same Entra UID.

So prior to this week the machine was not hybrid joined only local domain with Fsogix roamidentity set to 1. That's how the 2025 servers are set up for the moment. Moving to the entra SSO, no more FAS praise the lord, is one of my current projects.

So make sure all the proper pre-reqs are in place for that hybrid join. I have posted a bunch of articles on checking and setting that up on my site and github.
