With everything, except the VDAs being on-prem, does anyone have issues that the visual quality is poor? Blurry, most notifiable on Excel spreadsheets.

You need to setup things like rendezvous to reduce the number of hops to the VDA. And make sure that where the VDA is as beefy internet, without any type of inspection on the gateway services traffic.

They have the "Rendezvous Protocol* as "Prohibited"
j
So that is going to send all the external connections through the connectors.

Whats your HDX encoder policy settings set to ? Visual quality ? Use video codec for compression ? Target FPS ect
b
I migrated this customer from on-prem to Citrix Cloud FYI. HDX adaptive transport: Preferred HDX Direct: Allowed HDX Direct mode: Internal only Visual quality: High Use video codec for compression: For the entire screen Target frame rate: 30 fps

Why are you using For the entire screen? Can you clarify your workload? We recommend in general to use default policies
b
General office workloard. The policies they have are the ones they had before using on-prem. It worked fine. I did some tests removing all the graphics policies and it worked "better" in my casa......I went ahead and recommended they remove them (not my policies so its up to them)

For general office workload, we do absolutely not recommend using the "Use video codec for compression: For the entire screen". For this workload (and many others), please stick with the dafaults.
