Hi, we have some non-persistent terminalservers which were recently upgraded from Windows Server 2019 to Server 2025 provisioned via MCS with I/O Disk. The software is the same, same hardware etc., however the users are experiencing massive performance reductions, since the changeover. They are expierincing double the wait times for specific actions in, for example Dynamix AX. (Instead of 6s wait time before now 12s) Also the search bar is always taking 20s for anything to display, after a fresh session. We are still using BIS-F sealing with the newest Optimizer version and the default Template. Any optimizations we can do, to increase the performance on this OS? Logon duration is also pretty bad with 40s average Also sometimes when you try to open a published app it loads, but nothing gets opend, after triggering opening the published app again it then gets displayed - I am guessint this has something to do with this aswell?

Hey Fabio, is the hosting platform vSphere or something else ? Are your A/V exemptions in place ?
f
Hey Owen, yes we are using vSphere - to be precise vSphere Client version 8.0.3.00700.. A/V exemptions are in place..
with the Server OS 2025 build from march 2026

Ok, thank you for this info. On a test machine , with no users , run through @Jeff Riechers script which amends some culprit VMXNet3 defaults https://docs.jeffriechers.com/Microsoft/24h2-windows-11-and-server-2025-vmxnet3-issues/

I will definitely try that, thanks in advance :)

I would look at using powershell and the use of my script here to measure launch times, you'd want to amend the paths to the apps if the samples included aren't relevant https://github.com/getvpro/Misc/blob/main/Get-MS365LaunchTimes.ps1
