We have an error code in the Events Viewer that we are tracking down. The CtxUvi Dword disables due to .dlls with a setting of "1". This prevents any users from logging into these multi-session servers (XenApp) . We do use App Layering and there are also errors 21 Failed to attach virtual disk. Is this CtxUvi issue something anyone else is running into? And do you have any recommendations? A reboot clears the CtxUvi, but we are seeing it set again randomly after the reboot.
Not sure if this is needed, but the VDA is 2402 CU2 LTSR and the Control Plane is Citrix Cloud

What exact event log entry are you seeing? We're battling weirdness with CtxUvi right now in our environment (2402 CU2, App Layering).

Same as us. We've had a case open with Citrix for it for about 2 weeks now. I think it's only happening in our S19 environment?
Weird thing is that it literally just started. Zero issues with this in the past up until about 2 weeks ago.

This sounds like an issue we had on ELM 2507, haven't had any issues since we upgraded to 2511

We're on 2503.
@Lennart Hermansson Out of curiosity, any chance your elastic shares on on NetApp CAFS?
l
We do not have any elastic shares on NetApp CAFS
r
@Lennart Hermansson, are you using elastic layers at all? Our issue seemed to be triggered by loss of connectivity to our elastic layer share and CAFS failing to maintain the persistent handles. Was wondering if you saw the same thing or if CtxUvi was disabling itself independent of any elastic layer share issues.

We use elastic layers for the majority of our applications, as far as I know we did not have any issues with our storage. The issue we had was 6 months ago and it was caused by ELM 2507, we simply reverted the snapshot back to the previous version and the CtxUvi errors went away. No CtxUvi errors on ELM 2511
