@Nick Panaccio nope, shared your findings they asked for the GPT.ini files then radio silence. Are you on Standard or Unified support?
n
We're Citrix's largest customer, so I'm going to say Unified? Legit don't know.
Do your gpt.ini files look like mine (screenshot posted a few days ago)? Particularly after logging in and running gpupdate.
d
Yes it looks the same, I don't need to run gpupdate /force Citrix.Wem.Agent.Service.exe modify this file at first login even if its lapsadmin or normal user. Everything works find if I open the file and remove the extra stuff also.
n
Gotcha. May be worth mentioning my ticket # to see if they can send you the same WEM build to try out. The more people who validate it, the better the odds we get a new build that works.
I don't know why the build I was sent was 2509.x considering that there is already a 26xx build. Hopefully this fix is incorporated into the latest release.
FWIW, I was told that the issue will be fixed in WEM 2604, but no release date known as of yet.
d
Good to know I guess I'll get the same info next week since they still haven't send me the 2509.x version that I asked for this morning and day is over.
n
And next week is a holiday, lol.
d
2509.1.0.1 works fine for us also

FYI, also heard that the WEM Service Agent 2604 will include this fix, so they're covering both ends.
k
Looks like WEM Service Agent 2602.1 was just released (no notes), do we know if this includes the fixes or should we wait till 2604? They also updated the known issues list: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/workspace-environment-management/service/known-issues
n
They specifically mentioned 2604, so I would absolutely hold off.
No idea why they would release this build knowing it has an issue. So dumb.
And FWIW, we had no actions that used a logoff trigger, so even their note is incorrect.
k
Yeah, I thought the known issue was incorrect, we also have the issue, but no actions that use the logoff trigger (maybe it's a typo and they mean "logon"). We will continue to hold off updating until 2604. Thanks!
WEM 2604.1 is now available to download, no release notes yet
n
Yep, I see 2604.1.0.1 on some of our tenants. I'll get around to installing it either later this week or Monday.
I lied, built a new Platform layer this morning. Initial tests all look good - no corrupt gpt.ini file, and you can run gpupdate to your heart's content without issue.
Looking forward to seeing the documentation updated... eventually.
