Predictions for 2026: Whether it's broader use of AI tools, or AI agents everywhere, or "the browser is the new desktop", how do you see EUC changing in the new year?

"The browser is the new desktop" we tried that about 2006-ish. Everyone moved to web apps and then we ended up having to support IE-oldversion apps for years and years afterwards. My only prediction is that Microsoft will continue to push more and more people into "desktop fleet in Azure". That's their goal and they are making a pretty good fist of it with InTune and Defender backing it up.

As much as things change they remain the same.

I am thinking the AI bubble is going to retract a bit. Using AI as a search engine, validator, automation tool will be big, but a lot of the rest, like artwork, generative, AI as the next Web 2.0 is gonna dry up.

Brian Madden has been busy this year talking about the adoption of "Computer-using Agents" and "AI is the new UI". I don't disagree necessarily, it just seems like this kind of paradigm shift will take a long time to arrive in the Enterprise. Expansion of it in 2026? Probably.
