In WEM Cloud Service: When I create a new empty configuration set, what is the correct way to import the default recommended settings from the ZIP file? Only through the legacy WEM console through HTML5?

I usually go through the WEM console. Then make a backup of that initial config. Then you can restore that onto new configuration sets as a starting point.

What initial configuration? I’m confused. Is there any config in a new configuration set?

I will go through creating a template configuration set with my starter defaults, then back that up and use it for future templates.

Background: I’m setting up a new DaaS multi tenant customer. The WEM agent registers successfully to the configuration set. I logged in with a test user and.. nothing happens. As with an empty set the agent doesn’t even start. That’s when I remembered the recommended default settings from WEM on-prem and how to import them in WEM cloud service.

The import through the legacy HTML5 published WEM console was successful.

i make a backup of that , call it baseline or something, then you can reference that with the web console and import it
