Have you ever used Microsoft E3/E5 licenses instead of KMS on persistent Citrix VDAs? I’m having trouble finding any official Citrix documentation that confirms it's supported. I only see documentation related to KMS. The only Citrix link I found was this:https://community.citrix.com/forums/topic/253021-m365-e3-license-support-for-windows-activation/. thoughts?

It works on non-persistent. Back in the day when I was still doing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, we had multiple customers running M365 Apps with E3/E5. We did see that hybrid-joining the non-persistent Windows devices, provided a better user experience with both M365 Apps activation and SSO.

So there is no way to do w/o syncing the OU using AD Connect, correct? i just want to make sure i am on the right path..

I don't know if it's possible without syncing the device objects, but I know the user experience is way better and it's a fairly simple setup. You probably already have Entra Sync in place, if so then it should be a matter of selecting an additional OU with your target devices
