Is there a way to prevent this from popping up? The Policy "Wait for printers to be created (server desktop)" is disabled by default.

I ended up deleting the printer off my workstation to make it go away. Would also like to know how to hide this.
Internet people state it is a message whenever Windows works with the default printer. Changing the local driver to one that isn't ipp it may fix it.

I would also like to know with which release this has been implemented. I guess 2402 CU2.

@Jeff Riechers I changed it already to "Microsoft Print to PDF" and it made no difference

Jep, that option is disabled. I opened a case now.

Can you change the IPP printer drivers to other drivers? I believe it is the IPP engine that causes the message.

same here.. windows handles default printer is disabled on my client device..

If you get rid of the IPP driver on the Brother, does it still pop that message?

I managed to surpress the popup. Just disable the spooler service on your notebook and it's gone 😂

I had to print to an IPP printer here at home. Can confirm it is the IPP driver. Switching to a different driver and port and it goes away.

I have a case open which got escalated to the dev team. Seems like they need to escalate it to MSFT, something changed at driver level. If someone needs to reference a case: 83267790
