Folks, I have a client with 2 DCs hosting persistent VDAs (Win10), they are in the process of moving from VMware to Nutanix and will have a new win11 image deployed to both platforms in the short-term. Citrix is deployed as sperate sites across each DC. We are trying to manage the images in the most effective way. Granted, we will need two for each platform (VMware and Nutanix). How are folks managing their MCS master across multiple DCs vs having to update one in each location? The master image is only used for rebuilds and new starters, cheers

Typically have a source location and replicate to the other location(s). On the Nutanix side you can use the built-in replication to do this. Look at protection policies and VM recovery points on demand replication.

Thanks, Jarian. They have been updating separate masters in each site to date. I was thinking something like SRM for VMware and AHV replication. I'll have a read on the nutanix points 🙂

You can clone and migrate on the vsphere side using powercli
