Trying to add onprem 2402 CVAD site to our Cloud DaaS site. always reports "we couldn't find your site". I've tried IP, FDQN of DDC, disabled firewalls on Cloud Connector and DDCs (a lab environment). I have connectivity between Cloud Connector and the DDCs on ports 53, 80, 443. Tried different CVAD admin accounts, tried adding admin account directly to Administrators in Studio instead of nested membership. Any debug logging I can enable?

Hey Corey did you follow the directions here? There's the part about adding a security group for the ddcs getting added into studio as an admin https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-workspace/optimize-cvad/aggregate-sites.html#:~:text=From%20the%20Citrix%20Cloud%20menu,discovers%20the%20XML%20server%20port.

I thought that was only for 7.x sites; I'm 2402 and I'm ok with typing in credentials for site discovery
r
yea your right I read that wrong. Ill test on my site tomorrow to see if there are any gotchas

Are you using a private CA for XML? We had to change from 443 to 80 for it to enumerate the site.
c
An internal CA yes.

I'm using an internal CA and just had no issues adding my site.
I see a case where the user you use for discover needs to have permissions to log on locally to the cloud connectors. I dont see that in the docs but worth tyring. This can be done by adding the user account to the "Allow log on locally" policy under Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Local Policies > User Rights

Added a new CC in a new RL and it worked. So something up with my original CC, even though health checks and DaaS works fine through it. On to removing and attempting my original CC again. Thanks all
